A reputable hospital in Maryland is actively seeking a Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU to join their leadership team.

The Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU will work for a 300 bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center. Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU include overseeing three critical care units, managing the budget, department staffing (screening, interviewing, hiring, and scheduling), preparing accreditation and survey material, ensuring hospital, local, state and federal regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, working closely with the Nurse Educator for developing educational curriculum, and cross collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including (but not limited to) the Assistant Nurse Manager of the ICU, Assistant Nurse Manager MICU, Assistant Nurse Manager SICU, Nurse Educator, specialists, physicians, Staff RNs, LPNs, technicians, and ancillary staff.
The Nurse Manager Critical Care ICU must have previous experience working as a Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, RN Supervisor, Nurse Coordinator, or RN Team Leader, with a clinical background working in an inpatient critical care unit. The Nurse Manager Critical Care must also hold their active Maryland Registered Nurse License (or eligible to obtain MD temporary RN license prior to starting) along with their BSN (master’s preferred).
