Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Surgical Services, the Nurse Educator Operating Room is responsible for cross collaborating with the Perioperative Services Nursing leaders to oversee all new hire orientation, new hire education, and continuous education for the surgical services department. The Nurse Educator Operating Room will update policy procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and be an overall resource to their team. Ideally, the RN Educator Operating Room will hold their Bachelors degree with their active Registered Nurse RN license and a recent clinical background scrubbing and circulating in an Operating Room.
