This smaller short term acute care facility offers a 24/7 emergency room, outpatient imaging and laboratory services, pediatric care including pediatric emergency services, as well as addiction recovery services. This facility also contains a small inpatient unit that allows for brief inpatient stays.
The Night Shift Medical Surgical RN will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned med-surg inpatients. The Inpatient Unit RN will work closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to provide safe and effective care. The Medical Surgical Nurse will have the opportunity to provide autonomous care according to hospital policies and procedures, and will collaborate with the unit manager, facility director, and other healthcare professionals to ensure delivery of high quality care for patients during their brief inpatient stays. The Night Shift Med Surg RN will also be involved in patient discharge planning, providing education to patients and their families for a smooth discharge process. The Night Shift Staff RN Med Surg must obtain 1-2 years of previous inpatient unit clinical experience.
