A beloved medical center in the heart of Eastern Texas is actively interviewing for a strong, experienced Medical Surgical Services Nurse Director to join their outstanding leadership team!

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the RN Director Medical Surgical Unit will manage daily and long-term operations for this fast-paced inpatient unit with a total of 30 inpatient beds. The Medical Surgical Nurse Director will manage a strong team of Certified RNs, Charge Nurses, techs, CNAs, and secretaries. The Med Surg Director will collaborate with other RN Directors and the executive leadership team to facilitate patient flow, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.

Requirements: Active Texas State RN Licensure, Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN Degree, 5 years of progressive acute care leadership experience, plus a keen ability to bring teams together, motivate staff, and create a positive, desirable work environment.

Situated in Eastern Texas, this 125 bed short-term acute care hospital offers a range of inpatient and outpatient medical services to patients in the surrounding community including Advanced Cardiovascular Care, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, 24/7 Emergency Services, Pediatrics, Maternity Services, and Rehabilitation. This facility is a designated Trauma Center and has achieved accreditation by The Joint Commission TJC.
