Reporting up to the Labor and Delivery Department Manager and Charge Nurse, the Labor and Delivery Nurse oversees patient care throughout the shift. This person will work closely with other Physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HUCs, and Emergency Medical professionals in order to ensure compassionate and competent care

Throughout their shift, the Labor and Delivery Nurse plays a pivotal role in organizing medication administration and meticulously documenting patient care activities. In addition to these responsibilities, the RN promptly responds to medical emergencies, applying their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Effective communication is key, as the Labor and Delivery Room Nurse regularly interacts with patients, their families, and fellow hospital staff, ensuring clear and compassionate exchange of information.
