An award-winning teaching hospital located in central Connecticut is currently searching for an experienced Interim Operating Room Nurse Manager to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This fully accredited acute care facility is home to over 300-beds and is known to offer world-class medical and surgical specialties. The RN Coordinator Clinical Outcomes and Infection Control will join a mid-sized community hospital that provides care to more than 15,000 inpatient and nearly 200,000 outpatient visits annually. This medical center offers a wide variety of specialized medical and surgical services including behavioral health, cardiology, emergency and critical care, oncology, perioperative, birthing services, and much more.

Reporting to the Nurse Director, the Interim Nurse Manager will provide temporary clinical and administrative oversight to the inpatient Operating Rooms and Surgical Nursing staff. Daily responsibilities include organizing department staffing, managing patient flow, ensuring quality patient care, has oversight of department resources and fiscal budgets, and collaborates with the Nurse Director. This is a temporary interim assignment lasting 13-weeks, with ability to extend based on organizational and personal needs.

What Makes You Awesome: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN
• Registered Nurse RN license in state of Connecticut or ability to obtain
• Prior nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting
