ABOUT THE JOB: Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO, the INTERIM RN Director Surgical Services will oversee the organization's 20 ORs, PACU, Pre-Op, PAT, Ambulatory Surgery, Anesthesia, and Sterile Processing, facilitating daily and long-term operations for 1,000 annual surgical cases. The INTERIM Director will provide their strong administrative leadership to surgical services staff, serving as a liaison between employees, patients, and their families, as well as motivating staff and promoting an attitude of excellence in all departments. This role will become responsible for the implementation of recruitment and retention strategies for perioperative services, overseeing departmental budgeting, identifying opportunities for quality and performance improvement, in addition to performing other administrative duties as assigned.
