Are you a dynamic and experienced nursing leader ready to make an immediate impact? We are currently seeking an Interim Director of Nursing to oversee a Skilled Nursing Unit, a dedicated floor within a San Francisco, CA acute care hospital. This interim position offers a unique opportunity to lead and drive positive change in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Interim Skilled Nursing Unit Director will work a minimum 13-week contract. The contract may be extended if mutually agreed upon.

Director of Nursing Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Skilled Nursing Unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Implement and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to support the professional development of nursing staff.

RN Skilled Nurse Director Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
• Proven leadership experience in nursing administration, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or acute care setting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
