The Hospital Pharmacist will ensure patients receive accurate and safe medications by dispensing medications, reviewing regimens for effectiveness and safety, and providing clinical support to healthcare providers. The Pharmacist will educate patients on medication use and monitor for adverse reactions, contributing to patient safety. They will also manage medication inventory, provide drug information, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. 

The ideal Acute Care Pharmacist will meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's or Doctorate's degree in Pharmacy 
• Currently licensed by and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• ACPE I.V. Certification required 
• Prior Pharmacy experience in an acute care setting
