The Hospital Pharmacist will report to the Director of Pharmacy Services and will assume the responsibility of therapeutic use of antibiotics and other medications for patients. This entails collaborating and consulting with other healthcare professionals within the scope of responsibility. The Inpatient Pharmacist will directly work to improve the monitoring and management of medications of critical and high-risk groups that include interventions to improve quality and cost effectiveness. Creative approaches to service and performance improvements, along with effective communication and a high degree of honesty and integrity, are paramount. Completion of PGY-1 is required.
