An outstanding hospital in Las Vegas is in search of a new Emergency Department Nurse Manager.

In addition, this 200 bed hospital is accredited in all areas, and has earned The Joint Commission’s gold star approval. The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Southwest.
The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will report directly to the Director of Emergency Services. Supported by several tenured charge nurses, this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department with over 20 FTEs. The staff here is passionate about the care they provide and are a happy and cohesive team, eagerly looking to welcome in a new manager.
The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Director and other hospital managers to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
The Las Vegas area is known for its lively energy and so much more than just “The Strip”. This area is also home of the Grand Canyon, with hiking trails and recreational areas if the Emergency Department Nurse Manager is someone who loves nature and the outdoors.
