Reporting directly to the Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services, the Assistant Nurse Manager of Surgical Services will help lead two busy departments with over 50 FTEs and 4 ORs across two exciting locations. The Assistant Nurse Manager of Surgical Services will be supported by an experienced staff of Charge Nurses, CNORs, and OR RNs. The Assistant Nurse Manager of Surgical Services will play a pivotal role in ensuring the unit's efficient operation and be supported by an incredible team. 

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Manager of Surgical Services:

• Oversee accurate and through documentation of patient records and surgical procedures
• Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Facilitate training and development of OR nurses, keeping them up to date on best practices and new techniques.
• Provide strong leadership within the operating room, overseeing and guiding the nursing staff.
