The Health Information Management Manager will be joining a team of patient-centered healthcare professionals that provide full service acute care and outpatient services. The Health Information Management Assistant Director will be leading a highly-skilled team of HIM and coding specialists. They will be entrusted to oversee patient information along with ensuring that the patients right-to-privacy is protected and to ensure accurate coding of all patient encounters. The Assistant Director Health Information Management will manage the day to day work flow process while working across a multidisciplinary team. They are responsible for leading the development and maintenance of HIM policies and procedures and working closely with the Revenue Cycle Department to ensure the facility’s financial strength and compliance.

Requirements:

• Three to five years of progressive medical records management experience, showcasing expertise in coding, billing, denials, and medical clerical functions within a hospital-based HIM environment.
• Hold coding credentials (CCS or CPC certified)
• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree or certification in Health Information Administration or Health Information Technician.
