A highly reputable 100 bed hospital is on the hunt for an innovative and experienced Acute Care Assistant Director of Risk Management to lead a dynamic Risk Management team in delivering exceptional healthcare with integrity and compassion.

The Assistant Director Hospital Risk Management will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the hospital's risk management strategies. The Acute Care Assistant Director Risk Management will manage the day-to-day operations of the risk management program, developing enterprise risk management tools, practices, and policies for the organization. Additionally, the Assistant Director will work collaboratively with risk managers, patient advocates, nurses, and other healthcare providers and will report to the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer.

Acute Care Assistant Director Risk Management Requirements:

• A graduate degree in hospital administration, business administration, law (Juris Doctor or equivalent), or other relevant legal training 
• An RN license, other healthcare licensure, or clinical experience in a healthcare-related field is preferred but not mandatory
• 7 years of prior experience in risk management, legal, or compliance roles
• Experience with enterprise risk management is preferred
• Familiarity with federal and Illinois healthcare laws
