Job Description
This position is for a certified Medical Assistant in a 2 provider Cardiology Practice. Prior experience is required (minimum 2 years); experience in a cardiovascular setting is a plus. Candidate must be available for a 8-4:30 shift.
Responsibilities:
- Triage Patients for the Providers (Vitals, Medication Lists, etc.)
- Device Hookups for Patients (Loop Monitors, Holters, BP take home monitors, Home Sleep Studies) and Report Printouts
- Process Medication Changes
- Nursing Visits
- Assisting with Front Desk (Phones, Check-ins/Outs, Scanning Documents, Chart Preparation)
- Maintaining Exam Room Supplies
- Patient Call Backs
- Acquiring Patient Records
- Other tasks as needed
