Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Setup, configure, and support DB2, Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, and other RDBMS environments and install, configure, and upgrade RDBMS products; design and implement solutions.
· Troubleshoot databases, monitor performance, and develop automation tools (Perl/Shell).
· Proactively manage support issues, liaising with business and system users.
· 5-6 years in DB2 LUW and Sybase ASE and Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, Unix, Perl, PowerShell, SQL, GIT.
· Preferred skills are Veritas Cluster, LDAP, Kerberos, Windows 2000/2003/R2, Query Patroller, IBM MTK, Dbartisan. High-level expertise in internal tools: db2ts, syts, Oracle Assist, SQL Assist, DBAP, TAM, KUU, AFS, VMS, Train.
