CLIMATEC is Hiring a Financial Liaison and Reporting Specialist Near Burnsville, MN

Job Description

Responsible for managing financial reporting at BT IN in North America; Financial Liaison to Divisional HQ and reporting factory in Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Financial Liaison between the Divisional Headquarters and reporting factory located in Europe.
  • Oversee financial reporting operations for Building Technology (BT) in North America.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Business Unit Leadership, providing financial analytics, ad hoc analysis, and in-depth insights as needed.
  • Define, harmonize, and develop reporting structures to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare, conduct, document and follow up on monthly reviews with Divisional Headquarter and Business Unit Leadership.
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple legal entities for planning and forecasting purposes.
  • Compile and publish monthly financial Management Book for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and organize materials for various meetings, including business reviews and planning sessions.
  • This position may require occasional travel to Europe for meetings and collaboration with counterparts.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a multinational corporation.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in data management, incl. establishing, developing, maintaining, and running databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or CPA certification.
  • Additional advanced degrees or certifications related to finance or accounting.
  • Experience working with European divisions or subsidiaries.
  • Familiarity with international financial regulations and standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools or advanced reporting software.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting functions.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Basic proficiency in German language is preferred for this role.
