Job Description

We are seeking a QA Test professional with Test Automation experience for a 6 month contract-to-role in downtown Denver, CO. In this role, you will create the test plan, cases, procedures and test suites and execute/validate them based upon business requirements. Automation testing will need to be created in the future for our regression test suite. This role will work collaboratively between the Business, IS and PMO Team. Additional responsibilities are as follows: 

• Partner with team members and business to ensure solution meets business needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Review product requirements and design documents and adhere to implementation schedules to deliver products that meets agreed-upon quality standards and design expectations
• Develop test cases for cross platform applications and increase functional test coverage
• Work closely with product and development teams to provide estimates
• Follow the SDLC strictly
• Develop and maintain testing framework for web and mobile applications
• Perform system integration testing, including API testing for integrated 3rd party applications
• Communicate with team on bug triage, perform defect management, and work with development team to verify defect fixes through release cycle

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Management, Business.
• 5 years of experience with testing application systems
• 2 years of experience with creating automation framework and automation tests
• Experience with withing in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience in all aspects of the QA Lifecycle (test plans, test scripts, test reports, UAT etc.)
• Experience with using Jira
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce.com/Force.com platform
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Proven communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
• Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgement, mature and positive attitude
