In this role, you provide leadership related toa digital CAD environment—including, but not limited to: Automation and Control Electrical Designs, Data management, AutoCAD Electrical process & standards development, implementation, and strategic direction. You will assist in providing direction in emerging digital technologies and develops opportunities for process improvement, applications and data integration including, but not limited to, Electrical CAD Designs for: New Plants, Plant Expansions and Plant Upgrades.Additional responsibilities include: QA/QC – Data Integrity as they relate to Electrical Design & Vault environmentOversee and/or manage AutoCAD Electrical data to coordinate multiple disciplines on projectsOversee and/or directly collaborate and communicate with other Technical Services departments to deliver and/or manage Electrical design data.Manage Contract and Teammates Electrical CAD personnel to ensure projects are completed correctly and on timeAssist with the preparation of BFUSA’s Digital Standards—specifically AutoCAD ElectricalContinued development of “best practices” for digital technologies as they relate to Electrical Design research and development of ACADE standards and processesAssures Standards are used for all internal projects and with outside vendorsAssists in Developing and Maintain a companywide AutoCAD Electrical Training ProgramTravel to plants to support Electrical Design Projects and or training as neededVisits plants to study processes, consult with personnel and make recommendationsServes as consultant to management and plants on technical problemsBridge the AutoCAD Electrical technology with successful business outcomes such as ongoing commissioning processes, long-term maintenance, error reporting, Bill Of Materials integration with ERP systems, etc.Evaluate project team development; identify areas requiring further skill developmentQualifications 2 Year degree in Electrical Design, Engineering, Mechatronics or Equivalent plus 5 years hands-on experience in the Electrical Automation and Control DesignExperience with Software and Hardware Programming using AutoCAD Electrical SoftwarePassion to discover and research cutting edge tech and apply it in the Rubber processing worldOrganized and Self-motivatedProficient with public speaking, presentations and trainingPreferred:5 years electrical design, engineering or design experience plus 10 years of experienceExperience with 3D printing technologyJava, C , C#, Python or other programing languages a plusExperience with any of the following Autodesk software’s a plus: AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, Revit, Navisworks, or VaultAdditional InformationThese direct hire/permanent role will be located in Nashville, TN. This role will be a hybrid role, with one day per week in the office and the remainder of the week can telecommute. This role will offer a salary range of $90,000-$110,000 per year plus a 10% annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
