ClientSolv Technologies is a woman-owned and operated company that is certified as a WMBE, 8a firm by the Federal government's Small Business Administration.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Cost Analyst for a direct hire/permanent position in St. Joseph, MO. In this role, you will maintain the integrity of formulations and standard costs in mainframe systems SAP. In addition to this, you will provide accurate and detailed cost estimates in support of marketing initiatives and contribute to cost savings projects budget planning, and financial analysis for weekly performance estimates and reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains existing cost accounting system.Ensure accuracy of the cost of production including packaging labor and overhead components.Analyzes and reports cost of production through weekly and monthly manufacturing variance to standards.Develops and maintains strong working knowledge of production processes which includes regular observation and interaction on the production floor.Supports lean manufacturing activities to drive cost-saving initiatives.Works with support departments to properly record the disposal of obsolete materials.Maintains and develops business relationships with maintenance operations engineering and materials management.Provides credible, accurate, thorough, and in-depth financial analysis in support of plant operations.Supports other finance functionality including asset inventory control and spending audits.Provides labor analysis.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree preferred. preferably in accounting, business, meat science, or related field.Experience: Five years of manufacturing experience preferred. Key insights into cost savings initiatives.Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of Excel.Other Skills: Independent judgement with analytical skills. Problem solving, resourcefulness, demonstration of business acumen, and creative thinking skills required. Additional InformationThis direct hire/permanent role will be located onsite in St. Joseph, MO. The salary range for this role will be between $48,000 – $72,000 per year plus a 5% bonus (total compensation between $50.400- $75.600 per year). This role will offer opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive suite of beneifts.
