Role: Lab IT Support Specialist Location: Lexington, MA ( 100% ONSITE ) Duration: Fulltime
Job Description: Provide day-to-day administrative support for multiple hosted applications (e.g. Lab Computers). Assess, prioritize and resolve issues reported by users in the various applications. Provision new users, manage workflows, manage system configuration, and general end user assistance. Conduct user audits to ensure appropriate application access is maintained. Collaborate with the rest of the IT development teams to participate in projects and identify system improvements. Design, develop and test enhancements in alignment with internal business process requirements. Document all changes to applications per internal controls. Create technical documentation and conduct end user training. Adhere to industry best practices for change and release management.
Job Requirements: 1-2 years of professional experience in a technical support position in Lab IT environment. Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software. Ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines. Outgoing, creative personality with technological savvy. Tenacious dedication to good organization, thorough documentation, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage one's time in a fast-paced, interrupt-prone environment. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements: Prior experience, preferably in a SaaS company or in the healthcare IT sector. Experience/Exposure with GxP environment is MUST and computer system validation (CSV) is a plus
