Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise

Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors

Skills:
- Food preparation: Ability to assist in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to recipes
- Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Hotel/Banquet experience: Familiarity with working in a hotel or banquet setting is a plus
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
- Customer service: Ability to provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Culinary knowledge: Basic understanding of culinary techniques and terminology is beneficial
- Food service experience: Previous experience in a food service role is advantageous
- Bussing: Ability to clear tables and clean dining areas as needed
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to ensure food safety
