YMCA of Greater Cleveland has an immediate need for a Child Care Assistant Teacher. The Assistant Teacher provides direct supervision of a group of children in licensed Before and Afterschool Enrichment or Early Learning program.

Assistant Teachers create positive, nurturing relationships with children, while building cooperative relationships with parents / caregivers.

Instructors may be required to travel to and from branch locations for assigned duties, training or meetings, or work programs in other areas as needed.

Pay Rate : $12.00

Hours : 20 - 25 hours weekly

Job Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of program participants
• Supervise and oversee daily implementation of curriculum activities
• Ensure daily cleaning of program site

Qualifications :

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED, Associates Degree Preferred.
• Previous work experience in a child care center and / or experience working with children.
