Within the framework of the entire athletic program, provides leadership in the ongoing development and improvement of his/her coaching area through coordination, planning, evaluation, and implementation of programs. To follow expectations set by the OHSAA, Cleveland Heights-University Heights Athletic Program, CH-UH School District, and the CH-UH District Coaches Handbook.

Job Summary:

Assist in the coordination of all programs (grades 6-8).
Plan and administer staff responsibilities, staff, plans, seasonal plans, and scouting duties if applicable.
Maintain liaison and active participation with other community organizations related to her/his sport.
Assist in the ongoing evaluation of her/his coaches,
Develop skill sets within the athletes.
Monitor the academic progress of the athletes.
Promote an atmosphere of high academic and personal conduct standards.
Guide and assist athletes in the college recruiting process.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous head coaching experience or equivalent experience at a higher level.
Meet OHSAA and CH-UH requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous college playing experience
Previous high school playing experience
Demonstrated successful head coaching experience
Knowledge of NCAA and NAIA eligibility requirements
