Join the Cleveland Clinic team, where you will work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare. The Newborn Intensive Care unit is part of Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital,which is recognized as one of the top hospitals in Ohio.
As a Registered Nurse in the Newborn Intensive Care unit, you will care for infants that need treatment to recover from more severe illnesses. In addition, you will play a role in nursing infants to thrive and achieve healthy weight post-birth. An RN in this role is familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support.
Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
•Providing direct nursing care.
•Monitoring, recording, and communicating patients’ conditions as appropriate.
•Preparing patient care plans.
•Administering prescribed medications.
•Performing bedside hand-off reports and thorough bedside daily rounds.

• Can critically think and problem solve for patients’ best interests.
