The H50 nursing unit for Colorectal Surgery is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease & Surgical Institute (DDSI), which has been recognized as one of the top programs in the country and in Ohio.
As a Registered Nurse in the Colorectal Surgery unit, you will provide care to patients who suffer from Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer and genetic bowel disease. An RN in this role is familiar with complex medical histories, innovative surgical procedures, pain modalities, and comprehensive nutritional support. Work alongside seasoned nurses who are eager to educate and coach new graduates. What to expect during your residency program:
•A success coach will be available 24/7.
•Weekly check-ins to ensure personal and professional goals are met.
•Personal assessments to determine areas for growth and opportunity.
•10 to 12 weeks of orientation along with 10 residency days throughout the first year.
