As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform all duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Regulating the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.
• Operating equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures.
• Establishing and maintaining a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.
• Demonstrating knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment and policies - Hospital and Department - that are necessary for job performance.
• Collaborating with department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
•Demonstrates effective communication skills.
• Has knowledge of human anatomy.
• Functions well under minimal supervision and in stressful situations.
