With direction from a more senior team member, the Program Manager initiates and manages various research protocols and plans including maintenance of regulatory documents, patient files, and grant related documents. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Developing work flows workflows for human research and/or laboratory bench top studies to ensure all data is accurately collected and subsequently entered into compliant databases.
Assisting in protocol writing. Working in partnership with the Principal Investigator to design and create research plans and methods.
Mentoring new members of research team.
Participating in budgetary process including development of budgets for various grants.
Extracting data from the electronic medical record (EMR) and compile into excel for use in publications.
Assisting with major grant writing protocols and components, especially with the new NIH human regulatory components.
