Featuring advanced medical technology, our units encompass telemetry monitoring, hemodialysis machines and reverse osmosis machines.Our hemodialysis unit follows a ‘patient first’ methodology for care delivery and we pride ourselves on our team atmosphere. Our nursing caregivers often work with other nurses and technicians in conjunction with nephrology practitioners.The ideal candidate has:· A Bachelor of Science in Nursing but will consider those with Associate degrees.· ACLS and BLS certification (preferred, but we will train).· At least one year of acute care inpatient experience.· Experience with hemodialysis or renal patients in an ICU, ED or continuing care (CC) setting.· Some telemetry knowledge.We are a committed team of nurses, several of whom have been in the hemodialysis unit for more than 30 years. Program Offering Overview
- For full-time nurses: up to$437.50per month/lifetime maximum program benefit of$15,750
- For part-time nurses: up to$218.75per month/lifetime maximum program benefit of$7,500
Responsibilities:
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Maintains professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- BSN preferred.
