As a Clinical Social Worker, you will investigate, assess and plan interventions to help patients and their family members cope with social, economic and environmental problems. This position is part of a unique Mobile Intensive Intervention Team that will go to the client in a time of need. The Clinical Social Work position will consult with BCBAs and psychiatry.The Ideal caregiver holds a license in social work and has worked with the Autism Spectrum population. They understand or are willing to learn local resources for ASD and enjoy interacting with families. This individual must be comfortable interacting with distraught parents/caregivers to give them hope that there are resources to assist them and their child.
The Clinical Social Worker will report clinically to their Mobile Intensive Intervention Team. The position is in the Division of Pediatric Psychology in the Center for Pediatric Behavioral Health and Neurosciences. Immediate supervisor is a mental health therapist, head of division is psychologist, head of center is a psychiatrist.
