Clinical Health Psychologist

The Epilepsy Center within the Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic is currently recruiting a Clinical Health Psychologist with interest in providing cognitive–behavioral treatments to patients with seizure disorders including Conversion Disorder with Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizures (PNES) and epilepsy patients. This position will also provide an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary group of epileptologists, psychologist, social workers, and other medical providers in both inpatient and outpatient settings. There is an opportunity to get training in the evidence–based Neurobehavioral Therapy designed specifically for the treatment of PNES. The successful candidate will be proficient in providing cognitive–behavioral interventions and other integrative modalities used in health psychology. The candidate must have experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma–related conditions, adjustment disorders, and other neurobehavioral disorders. Experience in treating somatoform disorders is desired.

Applicants must have completed a doctoral degree from an APA–accredited psychology program, completed an internship with experience in clinical health psychology or trauma–related focus and a post–doctoral fellowship in these areas. Licensure eligibility in Ohio is essential.
