Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, Department of Pain Management has a full time opening for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at Weston Hospital. This opportunity is best suited for a PA or NP who is looking to collaborate, thrive and grow in a fast-paced academic environment. We are looking for an energetic and compassionate person to work in a comprehensive pain management program.
This position is outpatient based but will have a small component of inpatient responsibilities for vacation coverage.
Job duties include: provides patient care for people with chronic health issues or injuries that cause them pain. Duties include obtaining history and physical exam, ordering imaging/lab studies to diagnose and manage pain conditions; May need to find effective non-invasive treatments such as physical therapy, acupuncture, and electrical stimulation; may be trained on procedures to assist with pain management
Schedule for this position is Mon - Friday Days.
Experience is preferred, however new graduates are welcome to apply!

APRN: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and/or specialty nursing and/or medical care in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions in collaboration with a physician according to an APRN protocol and specialty certification. Practice emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health problems.
PA: Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider who provides primary and/or specialty medical care
(the practice of medicine) in a variety of healthcare settings. Functions within the collaboration agreement of a Physician, as per regulatory requirements. Performs complete histories and physicals on patients of all ages to establish and record patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan to provide continuing medical care, including daily examinations, writing orders, chart notes, discharging patients and completing discharge summaries. This medical care may be in a variety of clinical settings. PAs in the Hospital care role provide outpatient and/or hospital based care to patients (more than 50% of their time) with complex, acute, and chronic health conditions. Outpatient/Hospital care PAs practice in a setting that requires the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to manage acute and chronic health problems.
Must have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
