Job Description

Under the direction of the Quality Control Manager, inspect, check, and ensure overall quality of incoming and outgoing products. Ensure compliance with Company internal check lists. Monitor all production processes to identify and correct issues of non-compliance and assist the QC Manager in implementing solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret work orders and Quality Checklist
• Inspect output by all departments using internal quality metrics
• Document and record inspection results and present findings to QC Manager.
• Assist in training all assembly/production personnel in quality control methods and procedures to improve product excellence
• Propose and implement ongoing and continuous improvements to the production process
• Inform QC Manager upon discovery of any part or material defect
• Develop in-depth understanding of company standards, goals and consumer needs
• Ensure work area is kept clean, organized, and safe during and at the end of shift
• Eliminate and report all safety hazards
• Adhere to company Safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to and enforce company Quality standards
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• 1 years of experience in quality control work
• Keen attention to detail
• Documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to grasp, manipulate, and/or assemble small objects
• Ability to stand and/or walk for an eight-hour work shift
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Attitude of “Safety first” by being proactive in general
