Responsibilities

Engineering Design Equipment/production line design utilizing CAD Mechanical design Facility concepts and design Equipment research Writing equipment specifications Further develop operations concepts/ideas/plans Site design Support maintenance with engineering solutions Building design Collaborate with FSQA on food safety and quality concerns Participate on new product commercialization teams Collaborate with safety department to insure ergonomically sound and safe design Insure production line designs meets throughput/capacity expectations Work with suppliers to develop equipment Participate in ongoing team meetingsProject Mgmt Capital cost mgmt. Develop and oversee project budget Vendor Mgmt Subcontractor Mgmt Developing and managing project plans Project progress communication Managing New equipment installations Manage RFQ/RFP process to evaluate service provided by 3rd party partners Develop and maintain project timelines Participate in project post mortem reviews Transition design builds to operations and maintenance Coordinate training to Operations and maintenance during startups Negotiate pricing on new assets and or services Insuring plant drawings are accurate and up to date Develop performance guarantees Conduct FAT'sProcess Improvement Visiting other plants Attend Trade shows to stay current with technological advancements Proactive Identification of process improvements Troubleshoot operations issuesTeam CFG Facility Tours Team meetings Participate in ongoing company initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• AutoCAD SAP knowledge
• Project Management
• Budget Administration
• Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Education: B.S. Mechanical, Chemical, Civil / Structural, or Electrical Engineering or
  • Experience: minimum of 5 years managing projects of no less than 1 million.
• Certification: None Required, PMP Certification is preferred
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Ability to flex work schedule in meeting project needs including nights and weekends
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
