Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service, Inc. is Hiring a Service Coordinator Near Corpus Christi, TX

Cleaver Brooks Sales and Service is looking for a Service Coordinator to join our team in Corpus Christi. The Service Coordinator will provide CBSS with qualified assistance in handling routine administrative duties that support Services and Operations. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of time keeping, data entry, dispatch, and providing support ensuring office operations are organized and efficient.

Job Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Essential functions:

  • Assists management and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication:
  • Assists Service Managers with scheduling and/or coordinating various day to day activities
  • Handles purchase requisitions and purchase orders for third party services
  • Responsible for payroll and time entry
  • Monitors and schedules training for employees on an as needed basis
  • Carry out clerical duties, including answering phones and preparing documents
  • Acts as a liaison between Service, Sales, and Customers
  • Support peers and management with internal and external projects
  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Adhere to company policies
  • All other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:

Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Experience: Three to Five years’ experience dispatching in customer service role required. Two years’ experience in a service administrative role is preferred. Advanced competency in Outlook, Adobe, Word, Excel, and Teams are required. Basic understanding of HVAC industry terminology a plus. Industrial service administrative experience and job cost analysis a plus.

Physical Skill & Effort:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be reliable and responsible; must have the ability to work with a team and independently with little direct supervision.
  • Willingness / ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Work involves light and simple types of physical exertion.

Working Conditions and Hazards:

  • Normal office and warehouse conditions. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions or materials.
