Position Title: EHS Management System Coordinator

Immediate Supervisor Title: EHS Manager

Department: Environmental Health & Safety

Location: Trafford, PA

The EHS Management System Coordinator is responsible for leading a team to ensure the effective design, implementation, and continuous improvement of an EHS management system. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining EHS related programs and procedures. The candidate must collaborate with various departments to establish and maintain EHS standards that comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Additionally, they provide training and guidance to employees to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with EHS policies.

• Collaborates proactively with all departments to develop and implement effective and sustainable EHS practices.
• Provide technical assistance and support for EHS issues within all areas, collaborating with internal and external resources to ensure effective support.
• Responsible for the development, implementation, and sustainability of the Cleaveland Price EHS Management system including the development of all policies, programs, and tools.
• Develop internal auditing requirements to ensure compliance with standards listed within ISO 45001.
• Monitor all EHS policies, practices, and processes to determine efficiency and effectiveness. Recommend improvements to achieve and deliver improved results.
• Lead the development of a custom EHS Recordkeeping System, which includes modules for incident reporting, risk register, root cause analysis tools, EHS observation portal, etc.
• Work with the Training Coordinator and Technical Advisors to ensure that employees are properly trained according to the Cleaveland Price training process and applicable EHS programs.
• Manage the Cleaveland Price EHS documentation process (Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Job Procedures, Energy Control Procedures, etc.) and work with Manufacturing to identify and close gaps.
• Lead change management efforts to support continual improvement projects.

Education/Training/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience
• ISO 45001 / VPP Programs, Policy Development, and Implementation
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook).
• Effective presentation and training skills
• Ability to interpret documents such as policies, procedure manuals, and maintenance and operating manuals.
• Ability to safeguard confidential information.
• Effective, timely, and professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to lead a team of employees, work independently or in a group.
• Willing and able to learn new hardware and software systems.

• Regularly required to sit; occasionally walk, stand, reach and bend; talk, hear and see; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects; lift, push and pull less than five (5) pounds; occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
• Requires concentration, accuracy, and focused mental effort with the exceptional ability to present a calm, professional demeanor while multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment.
• Typical office work environment with exposure to manufacturing plant.
