ClearVision Eyecare, PC is Hiring a Part-Time Optometric Assistant Near Beaverton, OR

We are seeking a Part-Time Optometric Assistant to join our practice. We are an established and successful Optometric practice in Beaverton/Aloha seeking a candidate who can thrive in a fast paced and busy office. The successful applicant must be willing to perform a variety of tasks, with a strong commitment to implement and maintain organization and efficiency throughout the practice. The applicant must be able to develop positive relationships with all patients, in addition to new and existing employees. We are looking for a successful candidate who has a positive attitude, a friendly demeanor, willing to work hard and is available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
  • Greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, preliminary diagnostic testing, training contact new contact lens wearers
  • Represent the practice with a friendly and professional demeanor

Further responsibilities will be increased incrementally based on performance which will be matched by increasing compensation. Compensation will start between $16.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields is preferred but we are willing to train the right person
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace
  • Excellent people skills with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • History of strong worth ethic, and ability to demonstrate this responsibility in past employment
  • Professionalism in dress and presentation
  • Compulsive about being punctual and reliable
  • Handle stressful and busy periods with grace and ease
  • General computer skills
  • Ability to work independently (self-motivated) and in a team environment
  • Dependability and accountability is important

Clinic Hours: Mon-Fri 10am - 6:00pm, Sat 9:30am - 5:30pm, Sun Closed
