Clearview Treatment Programs is Hiring a Regional Director of Clinical Partnerships - San Francisco Near Venice, CA

Position Summary

This role is critical to the Clearview Treatment Program organization. This is a hybrid position with up to 50% travel. The primary territory focus for this position is in the Northern California area markets, based in San Francisco.

The Regional Director of Clinical Partnerships - Northern California establishes and leads growth strategies for calls and admissions by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality, and client-service strategies, designing systems, identifying/accumulating resources, identifying and removing barriers, and implementing change, and monitoring for continuous process improvement. Serves as a liaison between community clinical partners and the facility(s) serving clients with mental health and addiction disorders.

Relationships and Contacts

Within the organization: Initiates and maintains frequent and close working relationships with the admissions, business development and outreach teams, facility leadership and clinical team members within each facility.

Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains frequent and close working relationships with vendors, community partners, clinical providers, and referral sources.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Strategically leads cross facility discussions proactively to leverage cross-referrals, coordinates around shared referral accounts and contacts, and appropriately leverages the Odyssey network of services.
  • Leads the clinical outreach team to prioritize and build provider alliances at strategic levels.
  • Conducts quarterly strategic planning sessions with leadership and the team to review prior quarter results and update the next two quarter's plans.
  • Completes all weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting processes on time.
    • Utilizes new and existing data sources in planning and is competent in working within Excel/Pivot to analyze results, PowerPoint, and Word to share findings.
  • Manages the team and facility business development and marketing budget items to annual plans.
  • Tracks and reports projected to actual spending against budget in all key areas of expenses: travel, conferences, promotion, advertisement, and events.
  • Leads dynamic networking events, tours, and other activities to advance the facility brand and market position.
  • Leverages existing reporting and database capabilities within Salesforce to build talking points and other tools to assist the outreach team in differentiating services and programs.
  • Remains current regarding industry trends, competition, and community variables impacting referral and payer relations. Brings information forward to leadership and outreach teams.
  • Monitors all communications to maximize client and clinical partner-facing quality encounters and provide timely feedback and coaching to outreach staff.
  • Audits all outreach activities within Salesforce to ensure completeness and meaningful content.
  • Coaches Business Development and Marketing staff in:
    • Identifying and overcoming obstacles within the admissions and clinical partnership relations
    • Ensures the facility's talking point and branding guidelines are up-to-date and utilized in internal and external written and verbal communications
    • Remain within the budgeted expense models and adhere to the expense policies/guidelines for approval and submission.
    • Facilitates quarterly meetings involving the Odyssey and facility leadership(s)
    • Provide weekly coaching sessions with at least one ride with every 6 months.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Attends scheduled virtual, in-person, and internal and external business development and facility meetings.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to formulate goals and objectives for admissions teams at each location.
  • Maximizes available resources to meet or exceed strategic growth goals.
  • Actively seeks and identifies new referral sources and partnerships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Health Administration or related field and 5–7 years of experience in business development/sales. Additional related experience in behavioral health treatment services includes;

  • Demonstrated experience leading business development teams to meet/exceed monthly goal and budget targets, functioning as both a key and individual contributor;
  • Experience leading complex and detail-oriented sales processes;
  • Experience within specialized addiction and mental health disorder treatment services.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to communicate with peers/general public, clients, and/or vendors
  • Tolerant to various noise levels: noise level in the work environment varies, ranging from very quiet to moderate
  • Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building as well as sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell.
  • Ability to move up to 25 pounds
