Medical Billing/Collection Specialist

Clearview Health & Wellness group is seeking a motivated and reliable individual, highly experienced with medical billing, knowledge of the billing cycle, charge reviews and AR. Required experience in a mental health billing setting. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to work individually and as team, and has a strong attention to detail.

All candidates must have with 5 years of billing experience!

Experience with behavioral health billing is Required! AR Experience also Required!

We are seeking a candidate that has solid experience with billing for a mental health clinic / outpatient therapy clinic , or a similar behavioral health clinic! This is a must!

The position is intended to be in person with some remote work opportunities.

Requirements 5 years of Medical Billing Experience with Mental Health Billing Knowledge of Insurance plans and EOB's. Must be able to communicate with clients via email/ phone in a professional manner. Familiarity with Google suite, & EHR systems, and computer-based knowledge.

• Must be available during the day Monday Through Friday and must be able to commit to some evening hours after 5pm 2 days/ week

Job functions include:

All candidates must maintain confidentiality and remain HIPPA compliant at all times.

• Contacting Insurance companies regarding claims
• Collects and manages payments, post charges, cash deposits
• Enters information in the billing system
• Prepares and submits claims / invoices
• Review & manage all patient accounts, follow up on delinquent accounts, establish payment arrangements, address any payment issues with clients
• Review & Process Patient Refund Requests
• Managing & analyzing AR workflows- review of denials/ proper processing
• Collections- Timely Billing, Timely Follow up
• Financial Resolution on assigned accounts
• Email/Mail all Billing Correspondence
• Billing Reports
• Collections
• Credentialing Licensed Therapists
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Pay is based upon experience

*Great customer service skills, the ability to engage with clients and our therapists in a professional and effective manner.
*Experience with Credentialing, & Collections is a must!
*Intermediate Excel Skills
*Highly Experienced with Medical Billing/ Mental Health Billing
*Highly knowledgeable with AR and the entire Billing cycle
*Great computer/ technology skills
*The ability to work timely and meet deadlines
*A strong working knowledge of AR, medical billing, the billing cycle, reviewing charges, benefits/ claims, collections & dealing with insurance companies
