Our client is a leading tier-one automotive supplier that is continuing to post strong sales and market share growth. They are providing the most advanced automotive products for very demanding OEMs.
This opportunity is about 90 miles east of Memphis, TN. This company has never had a layoff in its nearly-100 year history!
Job Responsibilities What Will You Do?
Direct Team Leaders and hourly production members in their assigned manufacturing area that could include assembly, injection molding, powertrain, stamping, urethane, welding, etc.
to achieve production goals.
- Manage the operational unit ensuring goals and targets are met in line with company policies.
- Uphold manufacturing standards for safety, product quality, and efficiency.
Job Qualifications What Do You Need?
- Associates Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience required, 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment experience required, preferably in automotive.
- Strong working knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles required, experience with production methodologies such as Six Sigma or Toyota Production System preferred.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift.
Compensation and Benefits :
Base compensation for this role is between $63,000 and $70,000, based on experience. Bonuses are available, and there is supplemental pay available for hours worked in excess of 45 hours per week.
