Residential Counselor - CILA
- A CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) is a group home style living arrangement for adults aged 18 and older living with developmental disabilities.
- Clearbrook currently has 50 CILA homes around the Chicago area, each one housing 1-8 clients each.
- Clearbrook is committed to being a leader in creating innovative opportunities, services, and supports for people with disabilities.
Location: NW Chicago Suburbs, IL.
Hours: Part-Time.
Openings: 20 .
Schedule Types: AM, PM, Weekend, Overnight (>35hrs/week).
Pay: $17.75/hr Paid Training!
Sign-on Bonus: Part-Time staff will receive total of $875 in bonuses the first year of employment with us!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
- Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
- Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
