Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients

- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and dental charting

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for efficient record keeping

- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

- Assist with CAD/CAM procedures and medical imaging as needed

- Practice proper aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection

Skills:

- Proficient in taking vital signs and documenting medical history

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments

- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix

- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

- Knowledge of CAD/CAM procedures and medical imaging is a plus
