Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator located in Warren, MI, is in need of 3 Secret Cleared Realtime Embedded Software Engineers for an initial 2-year contract. The Realtime Embedded Software Engineers will work on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), supporting the development of cutting-edge defense radar and weapons systems for a number of US Army ground vehicles being deployed in combat operations globally.
Required Skills:

• 9 years' experience programming embedded software systems using C
• Hands-on and demonstratable experience with real time development (experience with VxWorks highly preferred)
• Experience with both Linux O/S and Windows O/S commands
• Experience working with Instrumentation Software such as LabView or MATLAB
• Experience with Microcontroller
• Bachelor's Degree (STEM highly preferred)
• Active Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills:

• QT or similar for development for user interface
• Knowledge of DDS (Data Distribution Services)
• DOORS
• Knowledge of and ability to apply ISO/IEC 12207 standards for software and systems engineering
• Knowledge of Communication Buses - CAN (J1939), USB, Ethernet
• Experience working in Agile environment
• Experience with development of autonomous vehicle software
