Clear Path Pediatric Therapy LLC is Hiring a School Speech Language Pathologist Near Townsend, MA

POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of our mission to help children create a clear pathway to a bright future, Clear Path Pediatric Therapy LLC (www.clearpathpediatrictherapy.com) currently has an opening for a full-time school-based Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team, providing speech therapy services to a local school district near Townsend, Massachusetts. Clear Path Pediatric Therapy LLC is a therapist owned and operated private practice and staffing company based out of Central PA, helping to provide services to local school districts and intermediate units across the Northeast Region. We value a strong, positive, supportive work culture, with wonderful mentorship and supervision offered to all employees. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with other Speech-Language Pathologists and professionals for support as needed, with manageable caseload sizes and ample in-direct therapy time to allow for planning, documentation, communication, etc. Competitive pay offered, flexible scheduling, and benefits. This position will require the successful completion of the following tasks:

  • Plan and implement high quality speech and language therapy and evaluations to assigned students, while supporting program implementation
  • Conduct individual and group therapy
  • Collaborate with other professionals as part of the multidisciplinary team to address and meet each students’ individual needs
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEP) aiming to promote communication skills, including expressive language and receptive language skills, augmentative communication, social skills, articulation and phonology, cognitive skills, etc.
  • Participate as a vital member of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning team to provide recommendations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Report on student progress
  • Assess progress and generate ESY (extended school year) recommendations for each student
  • Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques
  • Maintain a knowledge base of current information and best practices in the field of speech and language development and communication disorders
  • Assume any other responsibilities as assigned

SLP will have the flexibility to determine schedule and group sizes, as appropriate. Materials and assessments are provided and/or reimbursed. Support and mentorship offered as desired.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education/certifications:

  • MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology from the MA Department of Education
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CFs are welcome to apply!)

  • Ability to pass required background checks

  • Must be located near, or willing to relocate near Townsend, MA
