Clear Investment Group is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Chicago, IL

Company Overview:

Clear Investment Group is a reputable real estate investment company focused on acquiring distressed assets and bringing them up to community standard. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the rehabilitation and renovation of a multiple projects across our portfolio

Position Overview:

**TRAVEL REQUIRED**

As the Construction Project Manager for the rehabilitation of an apartment complex, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of multiple projects and contractors throughout the complex. You will be the point person for contractors and oversee the on-property maintenance team. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting all critical updates concerning various projects to upper-level management. You will be required to travel to various sites throughout the portfolio.

Construction Oversight:

  • Supervise and coordinate all construction activities, including managing subcontractors, laborers, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Address any construction-related issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that the rehabilitation meets established standards.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations to verify compliance with design and construction requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with design teams to address any design modifications or adjustments during construction.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential challenges to stakeholders, including property owners, investors, and management.
  • Foster effective communication among project teams, ensuring alignment and efficient problem-solving.
  • Communicate and maintain budgets 

Health and Safety:

  • Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
  • Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and hazard assessments to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully managing rehabilitation projects within the real estate or property management sector.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, building systems, and renovation processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
