Clear Impact, is a growing, performance-driven software and consulting firm seeking a positive, detail-oriented, high-energy person to take on the demanding role of Accounting Associate. We are seeking someone with at least 3-5 years experience in working with basic accounting and bookkeeping duties. This individual will work closely with and assist our Finance Director in various accounting tasks and other administrative duties.

Our performance improvement experts, work side-by-side with government leaders, executive directors, and public sector professionals to establish measurable performance expectations, identify the right data indicators, and continuously monitor the progress of programs and partners to deliver long-term, measurable impact.
Clear Impact accomplishes this by providing custom-tailored training and facilitation in the Results-Based Accountability™ (RBA) methodology, applying the framework to each client’s work. Additionally, we provide clients with our Clear Impact Scorecard and Compyle software to facilitate ongoing RBA thinking, practice, and process in their everyday work, ensuring our training does not go to waste. The Clear Impact Scorecard is our easy-to-use, web-based software that helps program managers, grants managers, and performance directors collaborate with stakeholders and community partners to simplify data collection managers, standardize reporting, measure progress, and improve performance at scale. Clear Impact Compyle software simplifies data management, creates custom surveys, and easily collects program participant data to help public and social sector organizations achieve more positive community outcomes. The two software products can be used together as a suite.
The Accounting Associate will work closely with the Finance Director, operations team, sales team, and consultants in maintaining, managing, and improving our accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
- Assist with the maintenance of financial records and documentation
- Conduct credit analysis and evaluate creditworthiness of clients
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies
- Provide support during audits and tax filings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience working as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficient in using accounting software such as Chargify and Quickbooks
- Familiarity with technical accounting standards and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.50 per hour
