CleanSlate is Hiring a Packaging Associate Near Linden, NJ

- Must perform the manufacturing processes: Operate Gallon/Filling Machine. Must be able to read & understand work orders, follow GMP, and follow company SOPs.
- Filling Machine Operator: Precheck product is ready to be packed prior to starting the machine. Must ensure packaging material is correct- bottles, boxes, and labels are available.
- Understand and able to turn the machine on, pass empty containers via the labeling machine, and adjust the filling machine as needed.
- Able to complete packaging tickets with all correct information in English.
- Control station where bottles are labeled: labelling empty containers, does require to stand during shift.
- Duties range from receiving and handling the materials through other processes to packaging the final product.
- Preferred, but not required, to be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, & electric pallet jacks.
- During all stages of production safety, attention to detail, a quality and sanitation focus, and efficiency are required.
- Full-Time Position: Monday through Friday. Shift 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
- Heavy lifting involved must be able to lift from 2 lbs to a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Highly dependable, reliable, has a sense of urgency, and keen attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to have visibility on equipment when a repair may be needed.
- Must have 1 year experience working in a warehouse.
- Able to read, write, and speak English. Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of chemicals and Mechanical background is a plus, however, it is not required.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Self-motivated with a high level of personal accountability.
