Position Summary: CleanOffice PorterPlus, one of the leading commercial cleaning companies in Northern Virginia, is seeking candidates for a Floor Care Specialist . The ideal applicant should have expertise in technical janitorial services like floor work, power washing, and carpet cleaning. This role involves pricing and supervising projects for current clients.

Essential Functions:

· Maintain overall responsibility for special field janitorial projects and ensure they meet high-quality standards.

· Must be able to workdays, and evenings, and be on call, on rotating weekends.

· Read and understand Work Tickets and Maps.

· Work in all special projects

· Be a good representation of the company brand.

· Applies and enforces all company policies and procedures.

· Be in constant communication with operations and other departments. Provide feedback throughout the business day.

· Assist in different duties as assigned and be flexible.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Knowledge of equipment and supplies that are utilized in performing assigned work.

· Preferred Certifications of Completion of Specialized Training (Carpet / Floors).

· Experience in effectively cleaning carpets and providing hard floor-care maintenance.

· Ability to read and understand Work Tickets and Maps.

· Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information and SDS (material safety data sheets).

Qualifications:

· 5 years of experience required in janitorial operations.

· Must possess comprehensive knowledge of commercial cleaning operations.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve quickly.

· Must be able to pass E-verify.

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

· Must possess a current driver’s license with a good driving record.

· Must be a team player and work well with others.

· Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, subordinates, and management at all levels within the organization.

· Ability to prioritize and organize work-related tasks and special projects.

· Ability to acknowledge and address any shortcomings.

· Proficiency with technology to perform the job: smartphones, tablets, iPads, computers.

· MUST BE FLUENT IN BOTH LANGUAGES ENGLISH AND SPANISH!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
