Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. is Hiring a Facility Tech I (FT) Near Phoenix, AZ
The Facility Technician I performs a variety of hands-on operations including drum pumping/dumping, offloading tankers, unloading vans, as well as general forklift duties within the facility’s industrial warehouse. This is a physically demanding job requiring industrial labor under potentially adverse/challenging conditions.
Hours and pay: The tech positions are night shift Monday - Friday (12:00 am) until (08:30 am) they then switch over to working -(9:00 pm) - (6:00 am) the remainder of the week. These positions start at $20/hr. with a 50 cent/hr. differential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that Health and Safety are the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading vans.
- Perform drum storage, repacks, and use of drum scanner.
- Operate a forklift when needed.
- Complete the required paperwork for waste tracking.
- Wearing of proper personal protective equipment for extended periods of time, including a full-face respirator and hazmat/Tyvek suit.
- Other duties as assigned.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of related work experience.
- Ability to work a rotating shift as needed (including nights and weekends).
- Ability to work in adverse environments (extreme cold and heat).
- Forklift experience preferred.
