Clean Energy Fuels is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Boron, CA

Our company is an essential business and we are hiring at our home office is located on a beautiful campus in Newport Beach, California.

Benefits Offered - 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, Pet Insurance, and more. We offer a competitive compensation package with a base of $24.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Inspect, monitor, and troubleshoot all equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently, and conditions are normal.

Maintain all Plant equipment and structures per manufacturers and Clean Energy guidelines.

Review daily maintenance reports, production reports and other relevant records to ensure the plant equipment meets the specified operating characteristics.

Provide in depth maintenance of machinery and equipment, as needed.

Detect and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components, devices, and equipment.

Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in company equipment.

Clean and maintain fueling locations by: picking up trash, emptying trash cans and dumpsters including dispose of trash, hand cleaning and polishing of fueling equipment, painting, canopy, lot, islands, surrounding landscaping, in and outside of enclosures.

Clean internal and external areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.

Perform and complete other tasks as assigned by the LNG Plant Manager or Maintenance Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no current supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent, 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, policies and procedures, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to use logic and reasoning.

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
